Google is the most used search engine. It is used for many reasons. May people aren’t able to see that just using one search engine that can be bias. While searching for a known fact is easy, but searching for something more complicated might cause some issues. Google cannot account for values. The algorithm is not build to be unbiased, it is looking for words and files. When dealing with knowledge based questions. The search results can be easily manipulated to show what someone wants.
This video gave a lot of thoughts on google. It was supersized to see how easily people manipulated the algorithms. It was really easy for just a few people to change what people see. With how many people use google, and trust it, this could be an issue for people looking for non bias search results. Having people who trust google fully with this flaw is an error.
