I chose a survey for my fieldwork. With my question being based heavily on the masses opinions on what they will and will not buy, I considered this to be the best way to collect the info on a large scale. It provides a large look at what a chunk of the consumer case wants and what they don’t want. I conducted my field work in person, that way I could explain my question if they needed more clarification. I did this because of how complicated my question could seem for people who don;t think about this issue.
I believe this could effect my results in some ways. The results from an online poll may not be truthful because if they did’t have clarification on the question they may just answer randomly, or put down what they think the question is asking. My main demographic where students. I picked students because they are a younger part of the population, where video games are more popular. This will help me get answers based on experience with the issue.
