Group projects come to mind allot when I think about collaboration. I feel like group projects are common in the form of presentations. But we have also collaborated in this class quite a bit. We have our guild members that we work with. Not only do we have assignments we work together on, but we also we collaborate on our peer reviews.
Collaboration also has many benefits. You can divide up the work allowing people to specialize into on part of the project. This allows each part of the project to be worked on more than they would If it was done by one person. They also allow for more boarder ideas. Some problems require multiple solutions. Having people of different personalities and styles will allow this to happen.
